Weekly Photo Challenge: Round

Round? It could be the easiest theme of Weekly Photo Challenge so far since I have a bunch of photos merely supported this theme. But for some reasons,  I really wanted to take the challenge by capturing new photos I would take this week. Should be easy I thought.

In fact, I didn’t get any good photo in the first 3 days 😦 What a lame! It had occupied my thought in couple past days, even a busy days couldn’t distract me from this “roundness”. In the middle, kind of admitting it’s quite hard to get “round” photo in (only) a week. It was simple yet sounded easy, but no more.

Thanks God, I found them at last!

Wheel, might be the popular chosen for the theme. I had checked out some of the participant’s and it is! 😆

On Tuesday, I was in the middle of shooting an high school anniversary parade for documentation purpose. There were some cops along the route since the parade obviously took more than a quarter of the road width, and caused traffic at the moment! 😛   I stood on the edges of the road and found a motorcycle of traffic cop parked in the middle of the road. Looks cool! I’ve never been that close with that motorcycle, and suddenly thought to approach and capture it. Hey! Round wheels! I got one! 😀

**

I found this cactus beside my house. This is actually my Mom most hated cactus. That’s why my Mom doesn’t look after this cactus very well and just put the pot in any hidden place, somewhat abandoned. Fortunately, this cactus is so vigorous one and used to raise abounding shoots turned them into a “giant thorn ball”.

Can you guess why my Mom hates this cactus terribly? This cactus has so many short-tough white thorns PLUS long-dark thorns like hook worsen it’s performance. If you see carefully, in the middle of every round, you can find “the hooks”. That hooks easily hook your hand, skin, or anything with pores when be touched, surely it’s a bit hurt, and when you start to release the hook  carelessly, I guarantee another hook already caught you! My Mom simply said: Annoying cactus!

In the next post, I will tell you about this special cactus, those special hooks and the reason I found behind why they have hooks! Hmm, It’s interesting!

Happy Blogging!

PS: Mulai besok internet sudah lancar lagi! Cihuy!

You must teach me! You must teach me how to make the color so dramatic. How to make the wheel so yellow-green vintage like your photo above.
